Exams not to be moved says board

The official Cambridge examination website has announced that there will be no rescheduling or cancellation of the 2020 IGCSE June papers except for schools in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan), Mongolia and Vietnam.

“It is not possible for us to make changes at short notice because timetabling across many different countries is so complex.” stated the official website as the reason behind their decision. Many newspapers have predicted that Cambridge would be forced to rethink as numerous countries have been experiencing complete lockdown due to the virus. Countrywide quarantines, “lockdowns” and complete disruption of life may prevent the administration of the exams that may force rescheduling.
